Sorc more garbage than ever.

I can see the changes to Blizz Sorc working for me, but I'm guessn it's because I suck and couldn't make the MaxRoll version work. I completely changed it up so I can facetank but I got terrible single target damage. Did i mention I suck and takes ages to kill a even Pit 60 boss :D ( but I feel safe )

The fact that the developers called out the accessibility for completely blind players and partially blind players, particularly about the navigation assistant and the compass and whatever else, it's a giant deal for me and seemingly a lot of the blind population agrees that is just great. Within a year of this game coming out we've had a tremendous amount of effort and work put into the accessibility for disabled players to be able to play the game more effectively. At launch. All we had was the screen reading functionality, of which it was like 70% good with a couple things not read perfectly, and since then the screen reader now reads. I think every menu in the game now, hell when season 4 launched, the master working and tempering menus were not that accessible. But then they buffed the reader to read everything. Not to mention sound effects for the traversal spots like ducking or jumping or whatever, there's just so much that I have to commend them for

Hey raxx thx for the videos quite helpfull what do you think about the new unique staff for sorceress i wad thinking putting that into the firebolt build could become quite something i mean as a core fireball that shoots firebolt into a firewall that triples your boosted firebolt to me its starting to sound quite promising

what i am waiting for since launch of the game and which is even worse in PIT, when you die you start faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar behind where you left. in dungeons sometimes you have to walk a thousand miles. in PIT even worse, you go the next level and die and start the level before again and have to walk to the portal first and then again on the last level where you died..so goddamn stupid. also............WORST thing ever. if you start DIABLO and maybe you are not logged in to battle net somehow or no internet, then you get to the first screen that says NO INTERNET and t hen it fucking closes the game again......instead of a RECONNECT or LOGIN to battle net button. wtf? even diablo 3 has this........

Why did sorc legendary paragon nodes get nerfed when they suffer from damage to begin with.

FYI the math on the druid damage changes is about a 50-70% damage loss on all storm skills. So yea... not a win.

Come on, Rax. Not even a word on the massive Sorc nerfs on everything? No cdr on off-hands, increased tp cooldown. Hard cap on paragon damage nodes. Ice armor not scaling on damage anymore. Buffs are only the meaningless tiny damage increases on some skills, like you noted on blizz

I just want them to fix the issues with Sorc teleport. And I’m going to continue to post it everywhere until they fix it or the more likely solution is I just quit the game. The issue: Unstoppable granted on fears, but not hard CC. They want to fix Vyr’s Mastery (a bug that helps character), but ignore issues that harm player like mine? If my teleport doesn’t make me unstoppable and I get frozen or stunned in higher pit I am dead especially if flame shield is on cooldown. I already have to play kind of risky with the way the incinerate aspect works to maximize damage output. I don’t need a shiny sack of “uniques”. I just want the game to feel good. If they can’t fix it they need to give us a new form of unstoppable without needing an aspect.

I notice on dark shroud that you can only lose a dark shroud once every 1.5 secs. Does that mean we're exposed for that duration after it burns off? Maybe that's the nerf that's pairing up with the heal buffs.

Hidden patch note: sorc deleted from the game

I think World Bosses, for lack of a better word, need the Raid Boss treatment from WOW. It's a 15 minute fight against a single, and let's be honest here, VERY weak, entity. Giving them more life/damage reduction only makes that fight last a little longer. Why not make them have phases? Boss goes away and spawns monsters to help them? Turn the arena into "the floor is lava" between phases? Right now World Bosses are just an Elite with high health. And this change makes them the same, just with even more health.

Diablo 2 is a better game than d4 and its 25 years old. Diablo doesn’t know how to make a good game anymore

Thanks man. All of this was very helpful. I tend to not play for months at a time ,and when I return I totally do not know what to do, and the game feels 'not fun'. you have a keen sense of what that feeling is, and why it is happening so it made me pay attention to your guide.

I play a fire Sorc and the changes I've been looking at just gut this spec unless I'm missing stuff... Guess I'll be running a chain lightning spec next season!

You forgot Teleport nerf and removal of CDR from offhands. Nerfs pretty much every current Sorc build more than these buffs. Also think they changed Vyr's to all damage in the mid season patch, so think it's only changing the mechanic and now you actually have to crit something to get any defence, which is pretty iffy, but 5 secs should be enough for 100% uptime. Overall apart from Chain Lightning looking absolutely cracked and possibly Arc Lash getting a lot with actually getting a temper now and a lot of shock skills got a buffs to their passive effects, so think it's rather easy to get 100% crit now during Unstable currents.

Doesn't matter, D4 is still a cash grab Beta. Anyone with a brain wouldn't actually buy this. The Torrent works just fine.

It would be nice to have eternal realm character slots be separate from season character slots. 10 of each or whatever. A total of 12 is too few. It would be nice for each character to have an individual stash tab just for that character.

Cant say what I will play yet. Definitely trying chain lightning sorc on ptr, if its good Ill go with that, if not then ill probably go with flurry rogue but need to try both builds before I commit😂

Hard pass until the devs figure out how to balance sorcerers and make them viable in endgame. How long has this game been out? And the dev team still can’t figure out one of their base 4 classes released at launch.

You apparently neglected to read the nerfs to the paragon nodes for the Sorc. The nerf each element by 20% at a minimum. Then the survivability of the sorc is gone. Oh yeah they are getting a 25 dr from Vry's and only when you crit. Otherwise the Sorcs have crap for survivability. Not sure of what I mean . Here. Burning Instinct Critical Strike bonus reduced from 1% per 25 Intelligence to 1% per 50 Intelligence and now caps at 40%|x|. Ceaseless Conduit Crackling Energy damage reduced from 3% per 20 Intelligence to 1% per 25 Intelligence and now caps at 60%|x|. Elemental Summoner Now caps at its damage bonus at 30%|x|. What little build options we had just got destroyed. All the while the buffed a class that is so far ahead that Sorcs have to use a telescope to see. (Barbarian) It is a slap in the face. If these changes get implemented into the game, then I hope Blizzard goes under when POE 2 launches because this oh we hear you crap and then do the opposite is hypocritical and disrespectful to the player base.

I wanted to start rogue this szn but if that drinking a potion every few seconds shit is the meta for rogue count me out. sleepy boring lame and unflavorful.

Druid looks to have some decent buffs and I'm excited to try it. But I don't think it's going to compensate for what it lost and will be overall less powerful than even now. But dear god... the sorceress is a joke. They nerfed teleport, flame shield, blizzard ice spikes, cooldown reduction, and a few other things. And "improved" the overall damage with a tickle. It's going to be so laughably bad.
